Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers about how your membership works, the impact you’re making, and what you can expect as part of the Do Good Society.

1. What is the Do Good Society?

The Do Good Society is a global community of individuals, businesses, and organizations who believe in creating meaningful impact through simple, everyday actions.

By becoming a member, you are directly helping feed children, provide job training, guarantee employment and create subsidized housing for those experiencing homelessness—while also gaining access to exclusive perks and travel benefits.

2. How does my membership make an impact?

Every membership fee directly funds meals for children, supports job training programs,  guarantees employment, and creates subsidized housing.

For example, one monthly membership provides 30 meals and helps fund the Do Good ecosystem that creates sustainable solutions to hunger and homelessness.

3.Why do you charge in USD when you are providing services to both USA and Canada?

Because we are a global platform with supplies, partnerships, and operations coming from both Canada and the USA, it is important to select one single currency for consistency.

The U.S. Dollar (USD) is the recognized global standard, allowing us to streamline transactions, simplify accounting, and keep costs lower across borders.

For Canadian members, your bank or credit card will automatically convert the amount into CAD.

4.What travel benefits do members receive?

Members enjoy discounts on all travel, access to special monthly trips at exclusive rates, and a FREE trip every year as part of the Do Good Society Travel Club.

It’s our way of rewarding you for doing good while helping you explore the world.

5. How are my contributions tracked?

We believe in transparency and accountability.

Members receive regular updates showing exactly how many meals were provided, how many individuals were trained or housed, and the overall community impact created from collective membership contributions.

9. Can I volunteer or get more involved beyond my membership?

Yes! The Do Good Society is powered by volunteers in cities across North America.

Members who want to get more involved can join local volunteer teams, help grow the movement in their community, and even receive additional travel rewards for their efforts.

7. How do I cancel or update my membership?

Memberships can be updated or canceled anytime through your online account dashboard.

We’ve made it simple and flexible because we understand circumstances can change—but we hope you’ll stay with us and continue building impact over time.

8. Is my membership fee tax deductible?

No. The Do Good Society is structured as a for-profit social enterprise, not a charity

This allows us to be more agile, transparent, and sustainable in our approach. Your membership is not a donation—it is an investment in both personal benefits (like travel perks) and collective community impact.

9. How do you choose which charities and communities to support?

We partner with vetted charities, local organizations, and community leaders who align with our mission of ending hunger and homelessness.

Our focus is on measurable impact, ensuring every dollar contributes to real outcomes—meals provided, individuals trained, and housing secured.

10. Can businesses or organizations become members too?

Absolutely! Many businesses choose to join as members or partners to align their brand with purpose.

Companies can also leverage our Corporate Impact Programs to engage employees, customers, and communities in doing good while strengthening their business reputation.
